What we do

Repairs, openers and new doors

Most calls are a door that won't open or a door that's seen better days. Either way, we'll tell you straight whether it needs a repair or a replacement.

01

Garage door repair

Broken springs, frayed cables, worn rollers, doors that are off track, crooked or slamming shut.

02

Openers

Opener repair and replacement, remotes and keypads, and safety sensors set up so the door reverses like it should.

03

New garage doors

Measured, ordered and installed, with the old door taken down and hauled off. Houses, detached garages and barns.

04

Commercial doors

Overhead doors for shops, warehouses and businesses around Rome. Call to talk through your building.

05

Tune-ups

Lubrication, adjustment and a safety check, plus tips on keeping your door running between visits.

Door stuck? Heard a loud bang?

That's usually a broken spring. Don't try to force the door up or pull the opener harder; a door with a broken spring is heavy and can drop. Leave it closed, unplug the opener, and give us a call.

Called them on a holiday weekend (Saturday) and they were here by 9 am on the actual holiday (Labor Day). Where can you find this kind of service anywhere? … These guys are the best in the business.

Called at 6:30 pm and they were done repairing and servicing my garage door by 8 pm so I didn’t have to call out of work in the morning. Price was very reasonable. Spent time telling us how to service in the future as well…

I messaged Langham Doors on Facebook and got a response within minutes. Told them the problem I had and they were out the next day! The service was fantastic and quick!

The old one was disassembled, disposed of and the new one delivered and installed in about 45 mins from the time they called to let me know they were enroute. Everything done as promised. Thanks, Langham's. You do good work.

My garage door opener quit unexpectedly so I called Langham and I'm glad I did. Installers came out and installed a new unit at a price that I thought was more than reasonable. Nice folks. Highly recommended

Questions

Good to know

How do I know if my spring is broken?

The most common signs: a loud bang from the garage, a door that suddenly feels very heavy, the opener straining or lifting the door only a few inches, or a visible gap in the coiled spring above the door. If you see any of these, stop using the door and call us.

Should I repair or replace my door?

Many doors just need a spring, cables, rollers or an adjustment. If panels are badly bent or rotted, or the door is old and the repairs keep adding up, a new door can make more sense. We'll look at it and tell you honestly which way we'd go.

Can you replace my opener?

Yes. We repair openers and install new ones, and we'll set up the remotes and safety sensors before we leave.

Do you work on commercial doors?

Yes, we work on overhead doors for businesses and shops as well as homes. Call to tell us about your building and doors.

What areas do you serve?

Rome and Floyd County. If you're a little farther out, give us a call and ask.
